About aergon

aergon was founded in 2015 by me – Beate Junginger – as a boutique consultancy in Munich. Trust is built through relationships. When you work with aergon, you always work directly with me.

As a former managing martner, I still have close ties to Manres AG in Zurich and Germany. For larger international projects, we support each other with additional manpower and continue to exchange ideas and information.

This clearly sets us apart from trainer networks: we do not only share resources, but also work on the same scientific foundation – and with the same high human standards.


aergon is a coined term derived from Aristotle and ergon. Aristotle asked what ergon is – the human being’s inherent and specific capability through which their “goodness” can be defined and expressed. For us, this means that life – in private, social and professional relationships – must correspond to a person’s individual nature in order for them to find their purpose and fulfillment, and only then be sustainably successful and create true value.

Discovering one’s purpose, unfolding one’s potential and shaping a suitable environment for the individual, for teams, for customers and for society – and thereby sustainably generating the desired economic success: this is what we support business leaders and their teams in achieving, with all our passion and expertise.


New worlds cannot be shaped with old worldviews. If board members and managing directors do not reflect on and adapt their perceptions, values, inner drivers and thus their behavior – especially under pressure – it is of little use to write words such as agility, diversity, new work, sustainability and all the other fashionable terms on the façade and proclaim them as guiding principles.

Change initiatives only become successful if the new values and ways of working described on PowerPoint slides, brochures and websites are not merely understood intellectually and addressed on a fact level, but if the psychosocial dynamics within teams are also recognized and deliberately managed.

In today’s world, focusing solely on the fact level is no longer sufficient. High performers expect more from their leaders and teams. If these expectations are not met, such talents will either not join in the first place or will leave quickly.

In addition, relationship disruptions are the sand in the gears of any collaboration and can massively impair productivity.

Shaping both the fact and the emotion and relationship level at the same time – this is where enormous untapped potential still lies for managers to become even more successful and personally more satisfied. Focusing purely on facts is, for every human being, like walking on one leg: even for the trained, exhausting in the long run and simply not aligned with human nature.

From a young age, I have been deeply interested in people and their development – in overcoming obstacles and growing. Supporting people in a professional context to become a better version of themselves and helping teams become more successful is something I consider truly meaningful.

My great passions are films and strategy games. I spend a lot of time at the cinema and with my friends.

Digital transformation places enormous demands on people, especially in working life, and presents leaders and employees with major challenges on many different levels. This change requires efficient collaboration and communication among all involved. It is important to me to create the framework and platform for this. I support and relieve this process through project coordination, communication, organization and planning. People say I am very reliable and loyal, organized and flexible. I support the aergon team in Munich with great dedication and heart.

Before aergon:
Over the past years, I was able to contribute my strengths at a leading international software company. I was responsible for co-designing the agenda, planning and executing meetings at international board level, and coordinating the interests of all parties involved in full scope.

Besides aergon:
I live in Munich, Germany, with my husband and our two children. In my free time, I enjoy a variety of sports and love the mountains. I share my passion for preparing good food with my family and, very gladly, with friends.


We want to make things as good as possible for everyone involved – improving a little every day. Our work fulfills us so deeply that we would do it even without professional obligation.

We love learning new and different things: through further education, travel, tech, marketing and innovation conferences, on the production floor with our clients, or directly in collaboration with leadership teams across a wide range of industries.

Whether in a board meeting or on the shop floor, Gen X or Gen Z, fact-driven or emotionally driven: we adapt to the people we work with without losing our own stance. Our goal is always to understand.

We reduce economic, psychological and philosophical topics to their essence using scientifically grounded mental models. This makes complexity understandable and immediately applicable.

We have been working with leaders and teams since the late 1980s. This experience, combined with new technology and current research, creates the mix of calmness, depth and effectiveness that defines our work.
